This premier chamber music ensemble from the world’s largest performing arts complex is composed of some of the finest musicians in the world. Known for its “vitality, incisive attention to detail and spontaneity” (Chicago Tribune), the ensemble performs an exuberant program of Russian-inspired classics including works by Irish pianist John Field, Mendelssohn, Schumann, violin virtuoso Giovanni Battista Viotti, and Mozart, along with Russian composer, Mikhail Glinka. These divergent composers directly influenced the evolution of classical music in Russia.
