This video will be available on the Center for the Arts Facebook page starting at 1 pm on April 8. The Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Company were the Center for the Arts' second inaugural Artist-In-Residence. During their time at Mason in January 2020, they participated in a variety of events that were specifically aimed at engaging in the community. One of the hallmark events in their week-long residency was a Town Hall discussion between Bill T. Jones, Dr. Franklin Dukes, and Wendi-Manuel Scott. They spoke about their lives, their beliefs, and why individuals should be interested in pursuing the greater "we". Please enjoy the newly-released recording of the Bill T. Jones Town Hall: A Conversation on Community, Identity, and Art.
