Join us for a benefit in support of student scholarships at George Mason University’s College of Visual and Performing Arts, Mason Community Arts Academy, Green Machine Ensembles, and the Great Performances at Mason season at the Center for the Arts.
The evening begins by showcasing the remarkable talents of Mason students amid an array of spectacular food and beverages, and culminates in the Concert Hall where Grammy-Award® winning vocal sensation The Manhattan Transfer takes the stage with the American Festival Pops Orchestra. This legendary quintet revolutionized vocal jazz with their impeccible harmonies and crisp interpretations of jazz classics. For this very special event, they are accompanied by Northern Virginia’s pop orchestra with Artistic Director and Founder Anthony Maiello to present an evening filled with swing, doo-woop, jazz, and pop.
