This event is collaboratively presented by Sodexo; the Center for the Arts; Student Support and Advocacy; University Life; Student Involvement; the School of Sport, Recreation, and Tourism Management; Green & Gold Soul; and Manassas Clay.

Empty Bowls is a grassroots movement by artists in cities around the world to raise money for food-related charities that feed the hungry in their communities. All funds raised through George Mason Empty Bowls will be donated to the Student Food and Housing Insecurity Fund, which serves George Mason University students experiencing food insecurity. For the price of a ticket, come and enjoy a lovely dinner of soup, bread, and dessert while enjoying the sounds of Green and Gold Soul. During the evening, guests will choose a handmade bowl to take home as a reminder of all the students in our community who face empty bowls each day as they struggle with food insecurity. We will also have a silent auction with an array of wonderful items for guests to bid on throughout the night.
