They took their case to the Supreme Court and won a landmark victory for civil rights in the United States. Co-produced by Virginia Opera and Minnesota Opera, and in partnership with the Institute of Contemporary Art at Virginia Commonwealth University, this highly anticipated world premiere opera will conclude Virginia Opera’s 50th Anniversary season. Sung in English with English surtitles.
