“With their unbeatable blend of virtuosity, spontaneity and humor” (The Washington Post), Canadian Brass returns with a delightful program of original arrangements and signature takes on beloved classics, including “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year,” “Jingle Bell Rock,” and “Christmastime is Here.” These globetrotting musicians have recorded more than 130 albums and created their own musical world by transcribing, arranging, and commissioning more than 600 works. “Nothing proclaims celebration and festivity like the sound of brass instruments. And if those instruments are played by Canadian Brass, there is even greater cause for celebration” (Toronto Star).

A pre-performance discussion with Canadian Brass members Keith Dyrda, trombone and euphonium; Mikio Sasaki, trumpet; Joe Burgstaller, trumpet; Jeff Nelsen, French horn; and Chuck Daellenbach, tuba; moderated by George Mason Dewberry School of Music Director of Brass Professor Caroline Steiger, begins one hour prior to the performance.
