Traditional Music of Ireland

One of today’s leading traditional Irish ensembles, the “compellingly original” (Los Angeles Times) Danú takes audiences on a musical journey to the group’s native Ireland through stirring ancient music and vibrant new repertoire. For over two decades, Danú’s virtuosic players on flute, tin whistle, fiddle, button accordion, bouzouki, and vocals have delighted audiences worldwide, including stops at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles and Symphony Space in New York City. The group has been broadcast live on NPR, the CBC, and the BBC, and recorded seven critically acclaimed albums, earning numerous awards from BBC and Irish Music Magazine. Experience the “impressive, immersive and uniquely and unmistakably Irish” (Strings Magazine) Danú!
